Unique Solitaire Settings

Unique Solitaire Settings

Welcome to Taazluxe Royal Gazette, where we explore all things diamonds and jewelry! Today, we're highlighting some distinctive twists on the classic solitaire ring design.

  1. Bezel Setting: A bezel setting encircles the diamond with metal, securing it without the need for prongs. This creates a sleek, modern look and is a stylish alternative to the traditional prong solitaire. I personally love bezel settings for emerald and ashlar cuts, but they also beautifully complement more feminine shapes like ovals and cushions.

  2. Half Bezel: Currently one of the trendiest styles, the half bezel can be applied on either the north-south or east-west sides of the diamond. It offers a clean, streamlined appearance, especially if you prefer to avoid prongs.

  3. Floating Edge: The floating edge solitaire features the diamond set offset from the band, either sitting below or above the shank. It’s perfect for stacking with wedding bands, as it allows for versatile styling, either layered below or right on top.

  4. Illusion Wrap: If you prefer something more subtle, our illusion wrap ring is an excellent choice. It resembles a classic solitaire from the top, but from the side, the diamond appears to float above your finger. The hidden halo wraps around the diamond instead of beneath it, adding a delicate, elegant touch.

These are my top four options for adding a unique twist to traditional solitaire engagement rings. Let me know what you think!
